Geoff Walker Biography

Geoff Walker is a chartered mechanical engineer, who has spent much of his career helping organisations improve effectiveness of maintenance and asset management operations.  Following his initial career with ICI, where he was responsible for maintenance, projects and technology development, Geoff crossed over into the world of management consultancy.  He led the physical asset management practice for Coopers and Lybrand, before their merger with Price Waterhouse.  In this role he was responsible for improving asset management performance in industry sectors as diverse as manufacturing, food and drink, chemicals, oil, gas, rail, aviation and the military. 

Since 2000, Geoff has focused on a variety of automated fault diagnosis technologies, including knowledge-based, expert systems, and model-based continuous on-line systems.  Geoff is one of the founding partners of Artesis LLP, which has been delivering advanced on-line health and performance-monitoring solutions to various industry sectors worldwide.
