Jez Palmer Biography

Jez is a computer science graduate from Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) and currently holds the position of business development manager at Schneider Electric. He is responsible for the development and deployment of successful growth strategies for the company’s automation business. Jez also provides business support to commercial and technical teams throughout the company. During his 19 years with Schneider Electric, Jez has held a number of positions, including undertaking the development and marketing for a number of the company’s automation products - in particular programmable logic controllers, SCADA and HMI systems and network solutions.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Jez spent six years with a UK based system integrator, delivering automation solutions to users in the automotive, food and beverage, aggregate and pharmaceutical industries. During this time he acquired extensive experience in practical automation technology application, as well as gaining a comprehensive understanding of the problems faced by system integrators and end users in project environments.
