Dr David Palmer Biography
| Dr David Palmer Company Name: Dontyne Systems Job Title: Co-Director After graduating in Engineering at Leeds University, David went on to carry out his PhD studies under Professor Bob Munro at the University of Huddersfield. In 1998, David joined Romax Technologies based in Nottingham, where he worked on numerous engineering projects with many top names in the transmissions industry. David regularly taught and trained customers in gear theory and the practice of gear production.
Working with Michael Fish, David helped establish Dontyne Systems in 2006 and currently holds the position of co-director. David is responsible for the development of software products for gear design, analysis and manufacture. He has created several products with the specific aim of reducing design time and bringing about higher production efficiency. David is also responsible for product training and conducts various bespoke courses in gear design and analysis. He continues to contribute to the development of international standards via UK Working group for ISO6336. |
