HSE Machinery Directive seminar at Drives and Controls Exhibition
Phil Papard, the HSE’s head of product safety will be speaking about applying the new machinery directive at this year’s Drives and Controls (www.drives2010.com), Plant and Works Exhibition (www.pwe2010.com), Air-Tech (www.airtech2010.com), and International Fluid Power Exhibition (IFPEX) (www.ifpex2010.com), taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, between 8-10 June, it was recently announced.
The HSE has confirmed that Papard will be talking about the main changes and duties in the new directive, and what is meant by "state of the art"? In addition he will go on to explain the role of harmonised standards and their limitations, as well as discussing interfacing with user legislation such as PUWER.
His talk will form part of a wider programme of comprehensive and focused FREE seminars at the co-located events, with speakers representing some of industry’s most pre-eminent organisations.
