Cressall Resistors manufactures high power resistors for a wide range of applications including dynamic braking (DBRs), load testing and neutral earthing (NERs). Cressall can offer both standard and custom solutions for any power resistor requirement.
Braking Resistors from our standard range are suitable for continuous powers to 40kW and for intermittent duties to 400kW. These have been developed to offer a rapid cost effective solution for most braking duties and can be manufactured and despatched within a few days.
We can design and build custom resistors for powers of 1.0MW and above, these can be cooled naturally, by fans or by water depending on the specific application.
On show at the exhibition are samples taken from our standard range of resistors plus water cooled braking resistors for the marine and hybrid electric vehicle market.
