Bartec have launched a revolutionaly remote I/O system for Hazardous Areas without the need for any additional explosion-proof enclosures.
Antares utilises plug-in technology and offers significant cost savings over conventional sytems. Parts can be hot-swapped during normal plant operation. No special tools are required. Buffer amplifiers or barriers are not required. It also offers for the first time ProfiNet and Ethernet IP in the hazardous area.
The drag and drop based design software is intuitive and creates BOM’s automatically.
100W power supply, local channel LED indication and a true reducndancy option are standard. Eight different I/O modules are currently available.

The MC 9090ex mobile computer from Bartec represents a compact unit for demanding data acquisition (barcode scanning) in the field. The design is such that single-hand operation is supported. Two versions are available pistol grip or “Gun” version and the “Brick” handheld. Different keyboard layouts are available and thanks to the integrated WLAN technology, the device allows for real-time data exchange with the host system. Variations currently available include a GPRS and Imager version plus the keenly anticipated RFID Version will be on display at the show. All are certified for use in certified hazardous environments. |

Pegasus Mobile Phones |

The Pegasus Mobile Phone has been designed for use in all industrial environments. It has IP65 protection and a -20°C to +60°C ambient temperature range.
The keyboard can be operated using gloves. The OLED colour display can easily be read in poor light conditions and handsfree communication / vibration alert functions are standard.
Pegasus is equipped with a Quadband GSM module offering worldwide use. Three versions are available;
- Pegasus 7000 (Industrial Version)
- Pegasus 7010ex (ATEX zone 1)
- Pegasus 7020ex (ATEX zone 2)
Optional features include a "Man Down Facility" and phone location tracking via specialist software.

WLAN technology is available as an option along with Touchscreen versions, Mouse, Trackball or Button operation plus Fibre Optic connectivity can all be accomodated.
Our BMS GrafPro software also enables graphical representational of plant operation screens to be produced on many versions.
